Natural Immune Support
Winter has arrived and the colder weather means cold and flu season is not far away. The purpose of this article is to inform people that there is a safe and effective natural immune booster that can help support your immune system and help to prevent viral infections. This immune booster is a homeopathic medicine and can be taken by people who are not able to take the regular flu vaccination due to allergies or are looking for a more natural alternative. My experiencing over the last few years of using this natural preparation is that the it can provide safe and effective protection against cold and flu viruses.

The natural immune support is administered by injection or can be given orally for children. Once the medicine is given it can help to activate the immune system and help provide protection against cold and flu viruses usually for the duration of the season.

There are two other excellent natural medicines that can be used in conjunction with the natural immune support to provide added protection against cold and flu viruses one is called Thymuline and is a homeopathic preparation which improves the function of the thymus gland. The thymus gland produces T-cells. T-cells actively seek out and destroy invading microbes like viruses and prevent infections. Another good homeopathic preparation used to prevent colds and flu is called Influenzinum this is a homeopathic preparation of the currently active flu viruses. Influenzinum is taken orally and activates the immune system specifically to this year’s active viruses.

With so many safe and effective natural medicines available to prevent viral infections it makes good sense to use the natural approach to prevention especially for children and the elderly who are both more susceptible.

Additional suggestions to prevent colds and flu:

Take a good quality multivitamin/mineral daily.

Take extra vitamin C, I usually recommend 1000mg/day.

Take a daily dose of garlic, if you do not like the thought of eating fresh garlic I recommend a product called Garlitrin. Take 1 tablet/day during the fall and winter.

Drink fresh ginger root tea regularly in the fall and winter.

To prepare ginger tea use peeled fresh ginger root grate 1 teaspoon of the root per cup of water and boil the root for ten minutes. You can drink 1-3 cups per day. Ginger is also an excellent circulatory and digestive tonic.

Keep well and enjoy the winter season.
